The medium length, classic “Chedeville facing curve” and a round chamber, produce a full tone with unsurpassed playability, and the high quality ebonite used in Chedeville mouthpieces aids in creating a great resonance and radiance to the sound. No expense has been spared in creating the Chedeville RC Saxophone Mouthpieces. Starting with the proprietary “Chedeville Rubber”, which is a more pure rod of ebonite that recreates the great rod rubber of Pre World War II legendary Chedeville mouthpieces.

The Chedeville
mouthpiece company, formerly of Charles Chedeville, the great Parisien
mouthpiece maker, has been revitalised under the ownership and guidance of Jody
Espina and JodyJazz Inc. They are producing high quality classical mouthpieces
once more! Their new range, including the Chedeville Elite Series Bb Clarinet
and the Chedeville RC Series Saxophone mouthpieces, have been developed through
months of research and analysis of legendary vintage Chedeville mouthpieces,
combined with years of designing and producing high-quality, consistent,
mouthpieces. 

While JodyJazz Inc
pull inspiration from great mouthpieces of the past, they hold a much more
contemporary view with regards to their environmental impact and carbon
footprint. As such their range of durable, reusable and aesthetically pleasing
Bamboo canisters offer a great alternative to the common plastic/cardboard of
most company’s – they really stand out! JodyJazz recommend keeping reeds or
other accessories in the canister, should you not be using it for your
mouthpiece, making it a truly environmentally conscious and handsome storage

Jody's new range of
Chedeville mouthpieces are manufactured entirely at their factory in Savanna,
Georgia using CNC machines and artisan mouthpiece finishers to create fantastic
quality mouthpieces. The company is focusing on consistency as its number one
priority, and to ensure this they have instituted what they claim to be the
most rigorous and precise measurements and play tasting in the industry. The
