The tenor ST model by Absolute mouthpieces is a fantastic all-round mouthpiece. The tone is easily adjustable by changing reeds. If you use a Vandoren Java and you get a great pop tone, use a softer Vandoren traditional and you get a more standard jazz tone.
Superbly designed and engineered the tenor ST works extremely well at both soft and loud dynamics. This piece produces enough power to cut through any section you may be playing with but will also work well for small group work.
This is a great versatile studio style mouthpiece!
