Description
An excellent clarinet for orchestral and chamber music, the
Tosca offers a great depth of sound and flexibility of tone. This clarinet is
ideal for professional clarinet players due to its stability and consistency of
intonation.
The Tosca is beautifully created by the combined talents of
Buffet Crampon luthiers and well-known artists including Michel Arrignon,
Romain Guyot, Pascal Moraguès, and Guy Deplus. This clarinet is made from
natural grenadilla wood and belongs to the R13 bore family. It has an even tone
throughout all registers, ease of response and rich, warm tone for which it is
admired.
A right-hand vent key has been added to this model to aid
intonation of low F natural. The tenons are secured with metal caps to help
reduce the risk of cracks.
Buffet has been producing clarinets since 1825 and are well
respected within the industry. Buffet clarinets are commonplace in orchestras
and ensembles across the world.
The Buffet Tosca A clarinet is supplied with a lockable double high-tech design aluminium and carbon style finish case. It also
includes two barrels, a pull through, cork grease, a sample reed, pencil and
silver-plated ligature and cap.
