This is the closest to a ready to use reed you will get to when making your own.
This profile is based on that used by Marc Trenel
120mm, medium gouge. With this cane it is entirely possible to put the reed together, cut the end off and it is ready to play. The tip profile is far closer to a finished state than many cane profiles available and requires little if any additional scrpaing once assembled.
