The Vandoren V5 series of mouthpieces is characterised by a traditional
round chamber. The traditional nature of this chamber allows for a
clean, clear and concise sound that is easily controllable. These
mouthpieces are available in a wide variety of tip openings that'll suit both classical and jazz musicians. Players that are used to the Vandoren Optimum
series will find this mouthpiece very similar, with the V5 being a little
more open in terms of the breadth of the sound.
