D’addario VENN Advanced Synthetic Alto Saxophone Reed is ideal for a variety of playing styles including Jazz, classical, rock, chamber, experimental and is also great for outdoor playing.
VENN was developed by the industry’s most revered engineers. The reed combines the stability of a synthetic reed with the sound and feel that a natural cane reed provides. Giving the player a long lasting and responsive reed.
To replicate the organic structure of cane, D’addario layered different strengths of polymer fibres with resin and reed particles to make VENN. This combination of elements has allowed the player to have the benefits of the synthetic reed whilst not compromising on the playability and sound of cane.
